Flora's Spoon Bread
Ingredients
1 cup milk |
1⁄2 cup corn meal |
2 eggs, well beaten |
1 tsp. salt |
11⁄2 tsp. baking powder |
2 Tbsp. melted butter |
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°.
Bring 1 cup milk to a boil.
Add corn meal.
Cook until it thickens.
Allow to cool.
Add remaining milk, eggs, salt, baking powder, and melted butter.
Mix well and pour into deep baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes.
