Morning!
I love New York City. It is ALIVE! I could not wait to get out of my room and start walking to the theatre last night. Masses of people, wet sidewalks and puddles in the street. Wonderful smells of food; not so wonderful smells of things that are not food. Horns honking, emergency services sirens, noise, noise, noise! Sooo wonderful.
My room is right across the street from an office building where the lights are on all the time, day and night, and sometimes this is very disorienting as it makes it hard to know of it is day or night, especially when the sky is overcast. This morning I double checked my clock to make sure it was really 6:30.
I also love the fact that people in the building can look through my bathroom and bedroom windows. Provides one with a reverse voyeur opportunity that is hard to resist. “Sorry, officer, I did not realize they could see into my room. I shall be more careful from now on.”
This is the first trip I have brought my Cpap machine along. Makes all the difference in the world, even with the added weight in my luggage. Slept wonderfully last night and now ready for the day.
Early show today. Not sure what the evening holds.
