Not ready to leave.
One final thought about the RCA. I love this place. I love the ambiance, the price, the location, and – usually – the service. But be forewarned that I am pretty sure this place is a serious firetrap. It was built at least 96 years ago and has two internal stairwells, but if you are on my side of the building and there is a fire between you and the first stairwell, you will never get to the second one, as it is on the OTHER side of the first one! It gets worse! Both stairs stop at the second floor and you then have to go to a single staircase to the lobby. Well, at least the outside of the building is brick, and maybe there are fire escapes but I don’t think so.
Anyway, the weather has been beautiful the last four days, and is again today. I shoudl have stayed for the parade, as there is also a rare show today.
Anyway, now at JFK awaiting my flight.
