Well, I am in my room – my third at the RCA in the course of 7 hours.
Room one, which I described in an earlier post, was satisfactory until there was a drip from the ceiling over the kitchen. I was willing to live with it after they showed me the room next door, which I had started to move into and then decided that I did not like it at all.
That was room two, but they would not let me stay in room one.
Now I am in room three, which I am not crazy about, but it has an air conditioner, which the other two did not. And it does not smell of smoke. Sadly, it is on the eighth floor, so fire death weighs heavily on my mind.
But here I am and here I will stay.
The rest of this evening, prior to my moves, was spent with JJF over dinner at Junior’s and a short walk around Times Square.
Now off to bed, and hoping tomorrow is a better day.
